It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Gertie McGrath (née Duggan) Colbert Park, Janesboro, Limerick and Ex Boyds Limerick
On March 3rd 2026, peacefully, at Adare and District Nursing home, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of the late Christy.
Dearly loved mother of Ger, Seamus, David, Ann Marie and Elizabeth.
Gertie will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family, brother Larry Duggan, grandchildren Stephanie, Andrew, Jack, Mark, Aoife, Cora, Louise, Niamh, Lauren, Christopher, great granddaughter Abbie, daughters-in-law Clare and Mary, sons-in-law Mark, Ivan and Ger, sister-in-law Frances Duggan, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Friday, March 6th, from 5.30pm to 7pm.
Funeral will arrive Saturday, March 7th, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Roxboro Road, for Requiem Mass at 10.30am, Funeral afterwards to Mount St. Lawrence (extension) Cemetery.
