(Peacefully) in her 93rd year, with her family by her side in the exceptional care of the nurses and staff at the

Galway Hospice.

 

Predeceased by her husband Patrick Joseph (Paddy), infant son Patrick, brother Eamon, sisters Rita and May and her twin sister Beatrice.

 

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Michael (London) and Noel (Galway), daughters Geraldine O’Connor (Galway), Martina Mulleady (Galway) and Gertrude Dooney (Edmondstown), brother Tommy, sister Attracta, grandchildren David, Gary, Andrew, Jason and Megan, great-grandson Páidí, sons-in-law Anthony and Dermot, brother-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Bridie, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends

 

 

May She Rest in Peace.

 

 

Gertie will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Frenchpark on Thursday evening from 5.30pm. Removal to St. Asicus’ Church, Frenchpark arriving at 7.30pm.

Mass of the Resurrection on Friday at 11.30am, followed by interment in Cloonshanville Cemetery.
