The death has occurred (peacefully) of Gertie Shields (ambassador of RSA & founder member of M.A.D.D) in the Mater Hospital surrounded by her family. Wife of the late Gerry Shields and mother to the late Paula and Deirdre. Sadly missed by her loving children Geraldine, David, Mary, Derek, Aideen, Evelyn and Vincent, brother Raymond, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her home on Saturday from 4pm to 8pm. Removal Sunday evening to S.S. Peter and Paul's Church arriving for 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 10am followed by burial in S.S. Peter and Paul's Cemetery. House Private on Friday and Sunday.
