(née Barry)

Howth, Dublin / Castleknock, Dublin / Baltimore, Cork

 

Gertie passed away peacefully on the 6th December 2025 after a long illness surrounded by family in the care of the wonderful staff of Highfield Healthcare.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Mary, sons William, Owen and Michael, son in law Noel, daughters in law Tara and Layla, grandchildren Niall, Ciara, Sophie, Jack, Conor, Noah and Milo. Predeceased by her husband William (Bill).

 

Lying in repose in the Chapel within Highfield Healthcare, Swords Road on Tuesday evening (9th December) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.

 

Funeral Mass in the Church of the Assumption, Howth on Wednesday (10th December) at 10.00am.

 

Gertie will be laid to rest in Tullagh Cemetery, Baltimore, West Cork on Thursday (11th December) at 2.25pm approximately.
