The death has occurred of
Gertrude McGovern
(née Glanville)
McGovern, Gertrude (Gertie), (née Glanville) - 29th October 2025, (Beaumont and formerly of Clontarf), (Peacefully), surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at Raheny Community Nursing Unit (RCNU). Beloved wife of the late Charles and loving mother of Paula, Jim and Adrienne. Very sadly missed by her son and daughters, daughter-in-law Annette and both sons-in-law Paul, grandchildren Carla, Ellen, Mark, Liam, Rachel, Kate and Emily, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Raheny Community Nursing Unit (RCNU) particularly those attached to Heather Ward for their wonderful care and kindness shown to Gertie.
"May her gentle soul rest in peace."
Reposing at Stafford's Funeral Home, Maypark, Malahide Road on Saturday afternoon 1st November from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Monday morning 3rd November to The Church of Our Lady of Consolation, Donnycarney arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Fingal Cemetery.
