Gilda Hussey

Hussey, Gilda Marie. Peacefully on Saturday 20th September 2025 in the exceptional care of the staff of Barnsley Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. Predeceased by her mother Irene, father Brendan and mother-in-law Ann.

Gilda, loving, caring partner and mum, dearly missed by her heartbroken partner and best friend David, and cherished son Jake. Her stepsons Leon and Scott, and stepdaughter Alex. Grandchildren Ronnie, Theo and Sasha. Her siblings. Her nieces and nephews. Her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Her father-in-law Peter. Her aunts, uncles and cousins; in particular her adoring aunts Ursula and Catherine, uncle Robert, and cousins Adrienne, Louise and Will. Her extended relatives and large circle of close and special friends.

Funeral arrangements will be shared in due course.

May Gilda rest in peace.
