The death has occurred of Gillian Donovan (née Thompson), Jacob’s Island, Mahon and formerly of Bridevalley View, who passed away unexpectedly at the Mater Hospital, Dublin on 14th February 2025. Beloved wife of Dave, adored daughter of Rose and Fachtna, loving sister of Aidan, Gary and Natalie, daughter-in-law of Noel and the late Christine and devoted auntie to Aaron, Zara, Josh, Charlie, Ruby, Adam, Mia, Jamie and the late baby Gavin. Sadly missed by her husband, parents, brothers, sister, father-in-law, brother-in-law Robert, sisters- in-law Gillian, Elaine and Susan, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, colleagues at Abtran and a wide circle of friends. Gillian’s family would like to thank all the medical staff in CUH and the Mater Hospital, Dublin who cared for Gillian in the last few days.
Visitation at O' Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Thursday February 20th from 4.00pm to 5.00pm, with prayers at 4.45pm. Requiem Mass in The Church of The Resurrection, Farranree on Friday February 21st at 11.00am. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully.
