Gillian (Jill) McDONNELL
(née Whitaker)
Gillian (Jill) McDonnell (née Whitaker) (Sandycove, Co. Dublin) – September 1, 2025, peacefully, in the gentle care of the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire. Deeply loved mum of Graham and Andrew and loving sister of Wendy (Woods) and the recently deceased Sue (Holman). She will be missed so much by her daughters-in-law Michelle, Allie and Mandy, grandchildren Kate, Scott, Aaron, Sarah, Nathan and Ella, great-grandson Hugo and by her wide circle of friends.
Funeral Service on Friday (Sept.5) at 11.00am in Dun Laoghaire Methodist Church, Northumberland Ave., followed by a private family cremation in Mount Jerome. Family flowers only please.
