Peacefully, in her 104th year, at Sligo University Hospital. Gladys, predeceased by her loving husband Tommy. Dear mother of Ray, Lorna Whelan, Mary O’Neill and Michael. She will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives and friends.

Reposed at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Monday morning. Funeral arrived to St. Columba’s Church, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo on Monday for Requiem Mass at 12:00pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Due to current restrictions, Mrs. Monahan’s funeral was private for family only. You are welcome to leave a message of condolence for her family below.
