Grainne Downey
(née O'Malley)
Downey (née O'Malley) Grainne, (Sutton), April 12, 2020, (peacefully) in the care of the Bon Secours Hospital, beloved wife of Michael, very sadly missed by her loving husband, sons Gareth, John, Niall and Michael, daughter Olwyn, sister Mary, brothers Padraig and Peter, daughters-in-law Jenny, Elaine and Kirsty and Dorka, son-in-law Colman, her adored 12 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May She Rest in Peace.
A private funeral will take place for immediate family due to Government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please feel free to leave a message in the Condolence Book at the bottom of this page or send on condolences by traditional manner. The family intends to hold a memorial to celebrate Grainne's life at a later stage.
