Greig Petrie

Greig Petrie – Mohill, Co. Leitrim, died on April 4, 2026 (peacefully) in his 96th year following a long and happy life, with his loving family nearby and in the excellent care of the staff at Arus Carolan Nursing Home Mohill.

 

Greig will be dearly missed by his loving wife Doreen (née Humphrey's), his children Cora, John and Alexander, partners Dave and Sarah and his much loved grandchildren Liam, Oscar and Rory, his niece Adele and nephews Greg, John and Ian, relatives and friends.

 

Predeceased by his sister Jean and his parents Walter and Ruby.

Reposing at Farnaught Church (N41 HO29) on Tuesday April 7th from 7pm to 8pm. House private please.

 

Greig’s life will be celebrated at 12 noon on Wednesday April 8th in Farnaught Church, followed by cremation afterwards in Lakeland's Crematorium Cavan (H12 RF78) at 3pm.
