Gretta Costello (née Carroll) (Costello’s Tavern, Dominic Street, Limerick). 5th July 2025, suddenly at University Hospital Limerick.
Beloved wife of Flan and dearly loved mother of Claire, Tara, Caroline, Flan, Dominic, and Brian. Sadly missed by her son-in-law Colin, daughter-in-law Jackie, her adored grandchildren Tommy, Rory, Rachel, and Aaron, brothers James and Tony, sisters Kathleen, Marie, Anne, and Rosie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, Derek Duhig, and a wide circle of friends.
Gretta lived quietly but gave deeply — her kindness, strength, and gentle spirit touched all who knew her.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at the Dominican Church, Glentworth Street on Wednesday (9th July) from 5.30pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday (10th July) at 1pm followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.
