Gretta LOWNEY

LOWNEY Bunskellig, Ardgroom, Beara, Co. Cork and formerly of San Francisco, USA and Kenmare, Co. Kerry, GRETTA.

 

Gretta passed peacefully on July 3rd 2025 in the exceptional care of the staff of Kenmare Nursing Home with her family by her side.

 

Pre-deceased by her parents Nealie and Agnes, her brothers Jimmy and John Gerard and her sister Una.

 

Gretta will be remembered by her sister Mary, brother Niall, sisters-in-law Mary and Imelda, uncle, aunts-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing In Harrington's Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Friday (4th) from 5pm to 7pm followed by prayers.

 

Requiem Mass will take place in The Church Of The Resurrection in Ardgroom at 11am on Saturday (5th) followed by burial in Gortnabulliga Cemetery.

 

Funeral cortège will leave the funeral home at approximately 10.15am.
