Gretta O'Brien
(née Manning)

Gretta O'Brien, (nee Manning), Longford Road, Lanesboro, Co Longford and formerly Riverstown, Ardee, Co Louth, passed away peacefully on the 15th February 2026. Predeceased by her husband Joe (M.P.S.I.) and her sisters Patricia and Mary.

Deeply regretted by her family, Gretta (Gerard Iwanuk), Joe (Maureen), Conor (Rosaleen), Mary (Michael Lyons), Orla, Brian (Anna), her eleven grandchildren, three great grand children, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and staff and friends from O'Brien's Pharmacy.

Reposing at her residence (Eircode N39 P268) Longford Road, Lanesboro on Monday 16th February from 3pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday 17th February at 1pm in St Mary's Church, Lanesboro followed by burial in Lanesboro Cemetery.
