Gretta O'SULLIVAN
(née Mullins)
Gretta O’Sullivan (née Mullins) of 2 Kernanstown, Bennekerry and formerly of Ballinacarrig, Carlow, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on January 14th, 2026 at Waterford University Hospital.
Beloved wife of the late Seamus, loving mother of Malcolm, Paddy, Seamus, Mark, Marguerite, Sharon and the late Jean and Philip and cherished sister of Robert, Patrick (Paddy) and the late Ann Brophy, Kathleen Haughney and Bridget Farrell.
She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, her 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchilden, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May Gretta’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace
Gretta will repose at Carpenters Funeral Home Shamrock Sq., Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) on Friday January 16th from 3pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm that evening.
Removal from there on Saturday morning at 10.30am, to the St Joseph’s Church, Tinryland, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
