Gus Melia

Augustine (Gus), 12th November, Baldoyle, Dublin, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Betty and cherished dad of Phillip, Sharon & Sonya, adored grandad of Arran & Seóna. Predeceased by his brother John. Deeply missed by his sister-in-law Carol, sons-in-law David and Dermot, sisters Anne & Marie, brothers Pat & Colm. Gus will also be deeply mourned by his extended family, in-laws, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. A man of many talents and an all-round fixer, Gus was known for his kindness, quick humour and a song at the ready.

Reposing at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Tuesday the 18th of November from 2pm to 4pm . A Celebration of Gus’s Life will take place at Dardistown Crematorium Wednesday afternoon at 2.30pm.
