Hannah Byrne

Hannah Byrne (née Tyrrell), White Park, Dysart, Mullingar, County Westmeath, passed away peacefully on January 14th, 2026, in her 95th year, surrounded by her loving family at her home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Mick, her parents Elizabeth and Patrick, her sister Judy, and her brothers Joe and Andy. Hannah will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family, daughters Teresa, Ailish, Trisha, Joan and Bridgie (Ward), son PJ, Teresa’s partner Michael, Trisha’s partner Stevie, her sister Betty, brothers Dan, Pat, and JJ, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, friends, the wonderful care teams who looked after Hannah in the comfort of her own home, and her precious dog Buddy.

Hannah will repose at St. Patrick’s Church, Dysart (N91 AF82) on Saturday, January 17th, from 4pm to 6pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 1pm on Sunday (18th January) followed by burial afterwards in Loughnavalley Cemetery.
