HANNAH DESMOND
(née MURPHY)
Desmond (Earlwood Estate, Cork and formerly of Vicar Street, Cork) On February 2nd 2026, Hannah passed away peacefully, in her 92nd year, in the presence of her loving family and the wonderful staff of Care Choice Montenotte. Beloved wife of the late Denis, much loved mother of Breda (Clarke), Mary (Leahy), John and Tim and dear sister of the late Denis, Mary and Nancy. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Sean and John, daughters-in-law Mary and Adrienne , grandchildren Emma, Julie, Anne, John, Holly and Aoife and partners, great-grandchildren Tommy, Saoirse, Danny, Max, Harry and Rían, brothers-in-law and their wives, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, South Gate Bridge on Thursday (February 5th) from 5pm to 6pm.
Requiem Mass on Friday (February 6th) at 12 noon at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, The Lough which may be viewed on Link Here
Funeral afterwards to St James Cemetery, Chetwynd.
