Murphy (nee Sullivan) (Highdown Hill, Newcastle, Co. Dublin and formerly of Black Valley, Gap of Dunloe, Co. Kerry) – April 4, 2024, (peacefully), in her 94th year, in the wonderful care of the staff of Meadow View, Peamount Healthcare, Hannah, beloved wife of the late Dan and dear mother of Mary (Grandfield), John, Anne (Scanlon) and Martin. Pre-deceased by her parents Patrick and Johannah and siblings Mary, Agnes and Sonny; Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, sister Frances, sons-in-law Mike and Frank, daughter-in-law Caroline, brother-in-law Tadhg, sister-in-law Sheila, heartbroken grandchildren James, Siobhán, Anne-Marie, Sinéad, Seán (Canada), Ciarán, Garrett and Caoimhe and their partners, great grandchildren Freddie, Daniel (Canada), Daniel (Ireland), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her home in Newcastle, D22 HX50 on Sunday from 4pm to 7pm. Removal on Monday to St. Finian’s Church, Newcastle arriving for 12 noon Mass. Funeral immediately after afterwards to Newcastle Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Peamount Healthcare.
