Harry Barrett, Fr Mulhern Crescent, Church Road, Belmullet, Co. Mayo peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of the Belmullet Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family on 7th January 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Edward and Margaret, sisters Mary, Sr Margaret Ann, Sr Colette, Winnie, Bridgie and Annie and brothers Ned and Pat.

Beloved husband of Breege (née Barrett) and dear father of Harry, Mary, Colette, Michelle, Kevin and Stephen. He will be sadly missed by heartbroken family, grandchildren Ethan, Eoin, Andrea, Maria, Matthew, Carolyn, Jim, Oscar, Ruby, Elsie, Ella, Finn and Poppy, daughters-in-law Siobhán, Tracey and Rachel, sons-in-law Richard, Seamus and Sylvester, brother John, sister-in-law Mariola, nieces, nephews, relatives, colleagues at the Belmullet Branch of Mayo County Council, kind neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Thursday evening from 5 O’Clock until 7 O’Clock. Funeral will arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet on Friday afternoon for Funeral Mass at 1 O’Clock followed by burial in Glencastle New Cemetery.
