Harry LYNCH

The passing of Harry Lynch, Prospect, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, is announced with great sadness.

Harry Lynch, aged 87, of Mullingar (formerly of Co. Cavan), died peacefully on October 3, 2025, under the compassionate care of the staff at Newbrook Nursing Home. He was the cherished husband of Ferga, devoted father to Fiona, Mark, Conor, and David, and loving grandfather to Jennifer, Lara, Dylan, Caoimhe, Isabel, Éabha, Claudine, and Frank. Harry will be fondly remembered by his family, including his son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Christine, grandson-in-law Séamus, twin sister Marie, sister Alice, brothers Noel and Bernard, brothers-in-law Gerry and Toss, sisters-in-law Breda and Julia, nieces, nephews, and the many friends whose lives he touched. Harry’s loving spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Reposing at the chapel at Newbrook Nursing Home, Grange South, Mullingar (N91 D232) on Monday October 6, from 4.00 o'c. concluding with prayers at 6.00 o'c. Funeral Mass on Tuesday afternoon at 2.00 o'c. in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar, followed by burial in Marlinstown Cemetery.
