Harry McATEER

Annaverna, Ravensdale, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved husband of Catherine and dear father of Bernard, John, Martin and James. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, sons, brother Fr. James McAteer (USA), sisters Mary (Begley) and Kathleen (McFadden), grandchildren Laura, Ciara, Abbie, Josh and Adam, daughters-in-law Siobhan and Catriona, Bernard's partner Noreen, James' partner Alex, brother-in-law Mick McFadden, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

May He Rest in Peace

 

Reposing at the residence of his son Martin, Annaverna, from 4pm-10pm on Wednesday and from 12 noon-10pm on Thursday. Removal on Friday to St. Mary's Church, Ravensdale, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Crumlin Children's Hospital and Palliative Care c/o Quinn's Funeral Homes.

Updated Government advice and Archdiocese of Armagh protocols have come into effect in an effort to contain the current pandemic. In order to maintain social distancing, there will be limited capacity in the Church. Priority must be given to family and close friends. Those who do attend are asked to use their better judgment and refrain from hand shaking and hugging. Sneezing and coughing etiquette should be adhered to at all times.

Posting condolences on RIP.ie should be considered a sensible alternative to sympathising in person until the current restrictions are lifted.
