Helen Costello (Nee O'Callaghan) Cappagh, Rathkeale Co. Limerick, and formerly of Gooseberry Hill, Newmarket, Co. Cork, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family and in the excellent care of the Palliative Care team on the 14th January 2026. Helen is lovingly remembered by her husband John, daughter Marian, son in law Peter Conway, her adored grandsons Tommie and Gearóid, sisters Mary Morgan (Newmarket), and Catherine Flynn (Kanturk) and brother Tadhg O'Callaghan (Gooseberry Hill), brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Helen is predeceased by her brothers Michael and John and her sisters Margaret (McAuliffe), Joan (Barrow) and Sheila (Clifford)

May Helen Rest in Peace

Reposing at McCarthy's Funeral Home (P56T624) North Rd, Dromcollogher .Co. Limerick on Sunday 18th January, from 5 pm to 7 pm, followed by removal to St Bartholomew's Church, Dromcollogher. Requiem Mass on Monday 19th of January at 12 noon followed by burial in local cemetery. Mass will be live-streamed using the webstream link below. House private please. Family flowers only please and donations in lieu to the Alzheimer's Society or Milford Care Center.
