Helen Dewhirst
(née Bourke)
Helen Dewhirst (nee Bourke), (Keighley, Yorkshire, England and formerly of Rathbane, Limerick on August 25th 2023.
She is deeply missed and loved by her daughters Vivienne, Kathryn and Nicola, her grandson Sunny, her sisters Marie, Anne, Rena and Bernadette and brothers Bill, John and Christopher.
Helen’s beloved husband, Ian Dewhirst, pre-deceased her on January 29th 2023.
Helen’s funeral service and cremation took place in Yorkshire in the presence of her family and friends.
The family wished that some of Helen's ashes be interred in Ireland so there will be a commemorative Mass on Wednesday 13th March 2024 (which would have been her 79th birthday) at 11am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Janesboro, Limerick, near the family home in Rathbane.
After the Mass the interment of Helen’s ashes will take place at the Bourke family grave in Mount Saint Laurence Extension.
