The death has occurred of Helen Hennessy (nee Kett) Gurrane, Charleville, Co. Limerick / Co. Cork, January 27th 2025, peacefully but unexpectedly at University Hospital Limerick, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Christopher, sister of the late Matthew Kett and Teresa Buckley, and aunt of the late Matthew. Very deeply regretted by her loving nieces Vera (Gammell) and Cathy (Tobin), nephews Pat, Michael, Donal, Kevin, John, Michael and Matthew, grand nephews, grand nieces, great grandnephew and great grandniece, relatives, kind neighbours and her many friends.
May She Rest in Peace
Reposing this Tuesday evening, 28th, from 7pm at Daffy's Funeral Home, Kilmallock, followed by evening prayers at 8pm. Funeral to arrive Wednesday for 12.30pm Requiem Mass at St. Munchin's Church, Rockhill followed by burial afterwards to Ballingarry Cemetery.
The family would like to sincerely thank Anna, Niamh and Catherine, and all of the staff at Maria Goretti Nursing Home, Kilmallock for their kindness, care and compassion shown to Helen during her time with them.
