LEHANE (Timoleague) on 5th April 2026, HELEN (nee Neville) Burrane, peacefully at Bantry General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Con and much loved mother of Anne Crowley, Majella McCarthy, Gerard (Gerdie) and Rosarie Hoey. Daughter of the late Batt and Kate Neville.

Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter in law Mary (Deasy), sons in law Michéal, Tim and Paul, sister in law Eileen, grandchildren Conor, Emer & Kate, Séan, Niall & Marie, Brendan & Pádraig, Ronan, Brian & Ciarán, great grandson Jacob, extended family Laura & Michael, wonderful cousins, exceptional neighbours & many friends.

Lying in Repose in Foleys’ Funeral Home, Timoleague on Tuesday 7th from 6pm followed by prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass in Timoleague Parish Church on Wednesday 8th at 12 noon which will be livestreamed here followed by burial in St. Molaga’s Cemetery.

Helen’s family would like to thank all involved in caring for her, especially all at Bantry Hospital, CUH, Doctors, Public Health Nurses, Paramedics and exceptional home help team.
