The Death has occurred of the Helen (Lena) Whelan (nee O Shea) late of Ballinagrana, Carrick-on-Suir, died 18th December 2025. peacefully in Greenhill Nursing home Carrick-on-Suir. Pre-deceased by her Husband Michael and grandchild Gerard, brothers Eddie & Michael. Lena will be sadly missed by her loving children Catherine, Margaret, Maurice, Michael. Grandchildren Thomas, Michael, Niall, Robert, Elaine, Michael, Conor, Mj, Rachel, Ciaragh. Sister Ita Horan, sister in-law Eily O Shea, sons in-law John G, Colm, daughters in-law Ber, Louise, Nieces & Nephews, Neighbours, Relatives, Friends
May Lena Rest In Peace
Helen (Lena) will be reposing at Walsh's Funeral Home, New Street, Carrick-on Suir on Friday, the 26th December from 5pm-6.30pm. Lena will be arriving at St Nicholas Church on Saturday 27th December for requiem mass on arrival at 10.30am followed by burial in Faugheen cemetery.
