Helen Long
(née Philpott)
The death has taken place of Helen Long (nee Philpott), Sandfield Lodge, Cork Road, Mallow, who passed away peacefully at Mallow General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on March 22nd 2024, after a brief illness, beloved wife of the late Noel, dear mother of Anne (O'Sullivan), Gerald, Debbie, Susan (Collins), Thomas, Gráinne (Brin), Richard, Maeve and the late Rosemary and sister of the late Ben Philpott and Mary Sheehan.
Sadly missed by her loving family, brother Richard, sons-in-law Donal Dan, Jim and Jerome, daughters-in-law Anne, Katherine, and Judy, Susan's partner Sonny Clark, sisters-in-law Kay Philpott and Rosaleen Philpott, grandchildren Áine, David, Colm, Brian, Karen, Brian, Fiona, Matthew, Emma, Niamh, Andrew, Aidan, Julie, Claire, Kira, Laura and Senan, her 2 great-grandsons Teddy and Peadar Fitzgerald, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Saturday (March 23rd) from 6pm with Prayers at 8pm.
Reception into St. Mary's Church, Mallow, on Monday (March 25th) for Requiem Mass at 2.30pm which may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/mallow.
Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's Cemetery, Mallow.
