(née Nolan)

Helen Mayling (née Nolan) (former Matron of The Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow) of “Little Acre”, Killeshin Road, Carlow and formerly of Henry St., Graiguecullen, Carlow, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 24th, 2026 at her home.

Beloved wife of the late Michael, much loved mother of Nigel and Corina, adored grandmother of Ronan, Katie, Neil, Orla and David and cherished sister of Dinny, Seamus, Margaret, Kathleen, Mary, Bernie, Dympna, Anna and the late Ted, Paddy, Maurice and Liz.

She will be sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Fiona, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunt Breda, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Helen’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at her home, “Little Acre”, Killeshin Road, Carlow (R93 XE76), from 3pm on Wednesday, March 25th, concluding with prayers at 8.30pm that evening. Removal from there on Thursday at 10.30am, to St. Clare's Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Sleaty New Cemetery.
