Helen McGauran
(née Ryan)
McGauran (née Ryan), Helen, (Drumcondra, Dublin 9 and formerly of Upper Gerald Griffin Street, Limerick), February 8th 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the Mater Hospital. Beloved wife of John and loving mother to Kathryn, Carmel, Liz, Terry and Paul. Sadly missed by her daughters, sons, Ann, Gillian, Mick, Lee and Fergal, grandchildren Kerry Lee, Rachel, Hannah, Tara, Tommy, Jack, Ciara, Katie, Keela, Seán and Ada, great-grandson Jake, nieces Karen and Gillian, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her sister Georgina.

Reposing in Lanigan’s Funeral Home, 21 Beaumont Road on Friday 13th February from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Saturday morning 14th February to St. Columba’s Church Iona Road arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by Cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to the Peter McVerry Trust.
