The death has occurred of Helen McKeon née Fitzpatrick, Drimna, Cloone, Co. Leitrim, Wednesday 3rd December, 2025, peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Pre-deceased by her late husband; Willie, sons: Liam and Gerard (infant), granddaughter; Siobhán and son-in-law; George.

 

Helen will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughters; Eileen (Texas, U.S.A.), Maureen (John), Bernadette (Pascal), Siobhán (Owen), daughter in law Rita (UK), sons; Enda (Bridget), and Gabriel (Mary). Helen will be fondly remembered by her cherished grandchildren; Heleen, George, Shane, Keelan, Adrian, Olivia, Andrea, James, Heleena, Geraldine, Sinead, Roisin, Sinead, Stephen, Christopher, Jerome, Fiona and Amanda, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Helen’s remains will repose at St Mary’s Church, Cloone Village, Co Leitrim, (N41 V009), on Saturday 6th December 2025 from 4:30pm, concluding with prayers at 6:45pm. Funeral mass will take place on Sunday 7th December 2025 in St Marys Church Cloone at 2pm followed by burial in the local cemetery.

 

Please note there will be no 10am mass in St Mary’s Church Cloone on Sunday morning 7th December 2025.
