The death has occurred of Helen O'Dea (nee Cotter) Mountain View, Kilfinane, Co. Limerick who passed away peacefully at Mallow General Hospital on the 20th of January 2026.
Helen was a much loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunty and dear friend. She will be sorely missed by her daughters Janice and Amanda, son Eric, sons-in-law Steve and Anthony, daughter-in-law Trish, her cherished grandchildren Noel and wife Laura, Jowad and partner Camilla, David and partner Ciara, Lauryn and partner Cian, Sophia and Paige, great-grandchildren Jay, Osian, Ruairi and her dear circle of friends.

Helen will be reposing at McCarthy's Funeral home, Kilfinane (V35E791) from 6-7:30pm on Thursday, 22nd January. Requiem Mass at St. Andrews Church, Kilfinane, on Friday, 23th January at 11am, followed by burial in the local cemetery.
