The death has occurred of
HELEN SMIDDY
HELEN SMIDDY (née Leahy) Artane and formerly Marino, Dublin.
On September 11th, 2025, Helen, passed away peacefully at the age of 92, in the exceptional care of the staff of Carechoice, Ballynoe, Co. Cork.
Dear mother of Niall, Yvonne, Adele, Hugh and Mary, cherished grandmother of Lauren, Lydia, Ciara, Blaithin, Colm and Lara.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sister Bina (Donworth), son-in-law Nick, daughter-in-law Hilary, nieces and nephews and extended family, friends and neighbours.
Predeceased by her husband Tim (Timothy), sister Maureen and brothers Con (Cornelius) and Derry.
May Helen rest in peace.
Requiem Mass at St. Erasmus' Church, Upper Aghada, Midleton, Co. Cork (P25 HH27) on Saturday September 13th at 10am with burial afterwards in All Saints Cemetery, Hill Rd, Whitegate, Co. Cork.
