Helen WHITFORD
(née Murphy)
Helen Whitford (née Murphy) of Shankill, Co. Dublin and formerly of Boherbue, Co. Cork, the Departments of Education and Foreign Affairs and the Revenue Commissioners, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, 14th August 2019 in the care of the staff at Tara Care Centre, Bray; much loved wife of William, beloved sister of Anne (Turnbull) and the late Vincent; sadly missed by her brother-in-law Douglas (Turnbull), extended family, relatives and many friends.
Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray. Removal from the funeral home on Monday (Aug. 19) at 9.30am arriving for 10.00am Reqiuem Mass in St. Anne’s Church, Shankill followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland can be made at the church or online at www.alzheimer.ie.
Please note that due to roadworks, access to the funeral home can only be made from Ferndale Road, travelling south from Dublin and from the M11 travelling north at Junction 5.
