BANAHAN (née Turner) (Ballybrack and formerly of York Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) – December 22nd 2025 (peacefully) following at short illness surrounded by her family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Helena; much loved and adored mother of Caroline, Martin, Lorraine and Colum. Predeceased by her mother Josie, father Paddy and brothers Jimmy, Paddy, Louie and John. Sadly missed by her loving daughters, sons, daughter-in-law Jackie, sons-in-law Gary and Eric, grandchildren Craig, Ross, Luke, Ellen and Jake, great-grandchildren Theo, C.J., Mila and Cade, brother Peter, sisters-in-law Esther and Ursula, nieces, nephews, her pet dog Molly, relatives, friends and neighbours.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her home on Sunday (Dec 28th) from 2pm to 4pm (all welcome) Removal on Monday (Dec 29th) to the Church of the Apostles, Willow Vale, Ballybrack arriving for 11.30am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Michael’s Cremation Services Chapel at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 arriving for 1.15pm cremation service.
