The death has occurred of Helena (Eileen) Murphy, nee Treacy, formerly of Abbeydorney, Co. Kerry and Liscullane, Tulla, Co. Clare. Eileen passed away peacefully in Carrigoran Nursing Home, Newmarket-on-Fergus on Monday, 22 January 2024. Predeceased by her husband Michael, parents Bridget and Maurice, brothers Michael, Pat and his wife Nuala, sisters Mary, Nora and her husband Joe, Bridget and her husband Wally, her brother in law Tim and nephew JJ, her great-granddaughter Lily and granddaughter Fiona.
Eileen will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Margaret, sons Michael, Maurice and Bernard, sister Kathleen, daughters in law, Marian, Norma and Anne, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew, neighbours and friends.
May Eileen rest in peace.
Reposing in SS Peter and Paul Church, Tulla on Wednesday, 24 January 2024, from 5pm-7pm and Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday morning, 25 January, at 11am in SS Peter and Paul Church, Tulla followed by burial in Tulla graveyard.
