The death has occurred of
HELENA (ENA) NEILL
(née FURLONG)
NEILL (Lisbourne, Carrigaline). On February 15th 2025, peacefully, at Cork University Hospital, HELENA (ENA) (née Furlong) (Montessori teacher and active member of the Carrigaline community), beloved wife of the late Denis and adored mother of Peter, Anna and Catherine, dear sister of Bernice (her soulmate), Deirdre, Frank, Paul and Raymond, beloved grandmother of Lillian and Emily. Sadly missed by her loving family, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends, especially May, Sandra, Jack, Catherine and her close companion - her dog JJ.
"She was a beautiful person and a wonderful mother who lit up the world around her.."

Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, Old Waterpark, Carrigaline on Tuesday 18th from 5pm until 6pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 19th at 12 noon in the Church of Our Lady and St John, Carrigaline, funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium.
"No flowers please, in stead her family asks that you plant some flowers in your garden and think of her in the springtime."
