The death has occurred of
Helena O'Brien
O'Brien (Ard na Mara, Cappagh, Kinsale and late of Ballycatten, Ballinspittle) on April 7th 2025, peacefully after a long illness bravely borne at Cork University Hospital and in the presence of her loving family. Helena, beloved partner of Tom McDonagh, dear sister of Phil, Gerard, Martin, Paul, Teresa and the late John and Marian, and daughter of the late Danny and Hannah.
Sadly missed by her loving partner, family, cousin Noreen, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and her many friends especially Norma.
Helena will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Kinsale on Thursday from 6pm followed by prayers at 7pm.
Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am in St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale which will be livestreamed on www.churchservices.tv/kinsale, funeral afterwards to St. Eltin's Cemetery, Kinsale.
