Helyn passed away peacefully on the 18th of February 2026 surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Sonas Ashborough Nursing Home, Milltown.

Beloved wife of David and loving mother of Stephen, Jennifer, Wendie, Diane, Sarah and Jayme. Sadly missed by her sons-in-law Mike, Valerio and Rory, her daughter-in-law Jigna, her adored grandchildren Lauren, Fionn, Liam, Edson & Teddy, brother Jack, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Helyn is pre-deceased by her brother Jim and sister Ann.

Reposing at O'Shea's Funeral Home, Killarney this Thursday the 19th of February from 4:30pm to 6:30pm followed by removal to St. Mary's Cathedral. Requiem Mass will take place at 10:30am on Friday morning followed by burial afterwards in Aghadoe Cemetery.
