(née Tierney)
BYRNE – Hilda (née Tierney) Dun Laoghaire 13th November 2025. Peacefully (after a long illness) in the compassionate care of the Sisters & staff of Our Lady’s Manor, Dalkey. Beloved wife of the late John. She is deeply regretted by her loving children, Martin, Rory, Aisling & Killian, brother John and sister Mary, grandchildren, Amy, Conor, William, Tom, Evie, Conor, Molly, Ella, Rosie, Keith & Katie, great- granddaughters Jess, Kate & Laura, son in law Rory Bowman, and daughters in law Triona, Sarah, & Maureen, brother in law Barry & sisters in law Fidelma & Valerie along with a wide circle of nephews, nieces and many loving friends. Remembering also her late brother Fr. Martin & sister Clare.

Reposing in Quinns Funeral Home, Glasthule, Monday 17th November 4pm – 6pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday 18th November at 10am in St. Joseph’s Church, Glasthule which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/glasthule with burial thereafter in Shanganagh Cemetery. Donations if desired to the RNLI.
