Hilda Hynes
(née Peyton)

Hynes (née Peyton) Hilda (late of Crumlin), 9th December 2025; passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of St James Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Thomas and adored mam of Patricia, Thomas, George, Fredrick, Noreen, Liam and her late son David (Sid), cherished nanny Hilda to her wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren especially her granddaughter Naomi.

Hilda will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers Sam and Charlie, sister Lottie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May her gentle soul rest in peace

 

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Friday (12th December) from 3pm to 5pm. A Celebration of Hilda’s life will take place on Saturday (13th December) at 10am in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, followed by cremation.
