Hubert Downey

Downey, Hubert, late of Glasnevin and New Cabra Road – 21st February 2025 (peacefully) in the loving care of his family and the staff of the Bon Secours Hospital, Glasnevin.

 

Predeceased by his brothers Gerard and Michael, sister Sheila.

 

Hubert will be greatly missed by his brother Bobby, sisters Joey and Betty, cousins, brother-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Gladys, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall Road West (D11 W7VX) on Thursday (27th February) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.

Funeral on Friday morning (28th February) to St. Canice’s Church, Finglas for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass followed by Burial in Dardistown Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired, in lieu, to the Irish Cancer Society.
