Hubert Harton

The death has occurred of Hubert Harton, Creighan, Cavan Town, Co. Cavan and formerly of Mullahoran, Co. Cavan. Tuesday, October 14th, 2025, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Medical 2. Pre-deceased by his parents Bernard and Mae, sister Teresa, brother Sean, brothers-in-law Andrew Boysen and Padraig Halton, sister-in-law Joan. Beloved husband of Mary and devoted father of Michelle (Ivana Russo), Martina, Lorraine (Shane Aherne) and Ciara (Padraig Kelly), his adored grandchildren Fionn, Holly, Summer and April, sisters Anna (Dessie Coyle), Olive (Diarmuid McGuinness), Marietta (Tom O’Dowd), Bridget, Margaret and Catherine (John Reid), brothers Padraig (Mary) and Bernard, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, all his relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, H12RF78, Dublin Road, Cavan, Thursday October 16th from 5.00pm until 7.00pm. Removal from his home on Friday morning at 10.30am to the Cathedral of Ss Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00am. Interment afterwards in St Brigid’s Cemetery, Killygarry.
