Hugh Cooney

Cooney, Hugh, late of Dublin 11 and Glenealy, Co. Wicklow – 5th February 2023 (peacefully) in the loving care of his family and the wonderful staff of the Mater Hospital. Hugh, much loved husband of the late Sadie and devoted Dad of Liam and Enda. 

Hugh will be greatly missed by his son and daughter, Liam’s wife Deirdre and Enda’s partner Brian, grandchildren Fiona, Niamh and Orla, sister Patricia, sister-in-law Eily and her husband Andy, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall Road West on  Wednesday (8th February) from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Canice’s Church, arriving for 11.30 am Requiem Mass followed by Cremation at Dardistown Crematorium.
