The death has occurred of Hugh (Hughie) Byrne. Main Street, Louth Village, publican Daniel McNello's, Inniskeen & former publican Hughie Byrne's pub, Louth Village. 14th February 2023. Peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his cherished family, his beloved wife Nancy, his son Hughie & his daughters Margaret & Caroline (McArdle), his sons-in-law Michael & Raymond, his much-loved grandchildren Kylie, Christopher & Ciara, his sister Phyllis (Ruddy), his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends

Hughie will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Wednesday, 15th February, from 12noon until 4pm and then at his home, Main Street, Louth Village, on Thursday, 16th February, from 2pm until 8pm. House private at all other times.
Hughie's funeral cortège will leave his home on Friday, 17th February, proceeding on foot to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Louth Village, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
