The death has occurred of
Hugh (Hughie) HOEY
Peacefully, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved husband of the late Susan, father of Thomas and Freda and son of the late Matthew and Mary Rose. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing son, daughter, grandchildren Alison, Ciara and Hannah, great-grandchild Eli, son-in-law Donal, sister Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Due to current restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Hughie's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family and close friends only on Wednesday, July 28th in St. Nicholas' Church at 11am.

There will be an opportunity for the community to show support and to remember Hughie by being present on the route, socially distanced, as the funeral cortege leaves his home on Wednesday at 10.40am, driving to the Church. After Mass, the cortege will proceed via Dundalk Fire Station en route to Dromiskin Cemetery.
To keep everyone safe, please continue to adhere to social distancing, wear a face covering and refrain from handshaking and hugging.
