Hugh died peacefully, in his 89th year, at Mayo University Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Patsy. Hugh will be sadly missed by his sons Matthew and Michael, his daughters Karen and Ruth, son-in-law Gerry, daughters-in-law Janet and Virginia, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers Robert, John and sister-in-law Fiodna, brother-in-law Greg, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Gilligan’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Claremorris, (F12YP74) (Walk through only no handshaking please for duration of the funeral by request) from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Thursday evening (14th July) with removal afterwards to his home, Remains will arrive on Friday (15th July) to St Colman’s Church, Claremorris for Funeral Mass at 4 p.m. Burial afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery, Claremorris.
Funeral mass will be live streamed on You Tube “Claremorris Church Live” https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXznV-Kn2sVij_zi3fZun6w or listened to on local parish radio on 106f.m.
