Hugh McPartlan

The death has occurred of Hugh McPartlan, Radharc An t'Seipeal, Drumkeerin, and formerly of Drumrewy, Drumkeerin, Co.Leitrim at North West Hospice, Sligo. Hugh passed away peacefully on April 18th, 2025. He is now reunited with his parents James and Katherine and brothers Jim, John and Stephen. He is survived by his loving twin sister Annie O'Sullivan of California as well as his nephews Michael (Christina) McPartlan, Stephen (Beth) McPartlan, Kevin (Danielle) McPartlan and Patrick O'Sullivan; nieces Diane (Kevin) Gorman and Siobhan O'Sullivan; He was a hard working, lifelong farmer who enjoyed traditional Irish music, a scrumptious dessert and regular chats with his community of farming friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Hugh will repose in St.Brigids Church, Drumkeerin on Saturday 10th May 2025 from 7.30pm until 9.00pm. Funeral Mass in St.Brigids Church on Sunday 11th May, 2025 at 11.15am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
