O’NEILL, Eyeries, Beara, Co.Cork on Friday 23rd January 2026 unexpectedly, HUGH.

Beloved husband of Anne, devoted father of Lisa, Brian, David and Aisling, adored grandad of Erin, Olivia, Tommy, Ollie & baby Sophie.

Son of the late Jack & Kathleen O'Neill, Gour.

Sadly missed by his sons-in-law Steve and Craig, his brothers & sisters Gerard, John, Kevin, Donal, Declan, Mary, Kathleen and Sheila, his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours & friends.

Reposing in Harringtons Funeral Home in Castletownbere on Sunday (25th) from 3pm to 4.30pm (15minute break) and from 4.45pm to 6pm followed by prayers and removal to Hugh’s home.

HOUSE PRIVATE.

Requiem mass will take place in St.Kentigern’s Church in Eyeries at 12 midday on Monday (26th) followed by burial in Gortnabulliga Cemetery.

Funeral cortège will leave Hugh’s Home at approximately 11.30am.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to Penny Dinners or Cork Simon Community.
