Hugh Twomey

Hugh Twomey, Barnastooka, Kilgarvan, Co. Kerry has passed away peacefully on the 11th of January 2026 surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Dan and Catherine, his sisters Sheila, Peg and Angela, brothers Paddy, Tim and Con, and infants Eileen, Mary, Kitty, Jerry and Danny. Sadly missed by his loving wife Una, sister Nora Harrington, sons Donal, Maurice, Hugh, Diarmuid and Seán, daughters Catriona (Kelleher) and Mairéad (Daly), sons-in-law Donal and Seán, daughters-in-law Cathy (O' Connell), Margaret (O' Neill), Cathy (Gaine) and Michaela (Donegan), his 19 adored grandchildren and 2 cherished great-grandchildren, his sister-in-law Mary Carr and his brother-in-law and best friend Paddy Daly, nieces and nephews, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Reposing at Quill's Funeral Home Kilgarvan on Tuesday the 13th of January from 5pm to 8pm with Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass at Saint Patrick's Church, Kilgarvan on Wednesday 14th of January at 11am .Mass live streamed on Kilgarvan Parish Facebook Page. Burial afterwards in local cemetery.
